Malaria is one of the most common causes of child mortality in Angola.

According to the World Health Organization, it was reported that almost 3,000 deaths due to malaria in just the first quarter of 2016. In recent years, the number of deaths has been increasing, from 5,550 in 2014 to 8,000 in 2015. With these statistics there is a high chance that they will significantly increase in 2017. However we have the goal to raise money to purchase anti-malarial treatment for families in Luanda which can potentially prevent the numbers from significantly increasing. The prices for the treatment range from Kwz 310-510.
